Those petty wrongs a leader may commit,
As many legal scholars do attest,
Are easy to forgive, if I see fit,
Through pardoning done at mine own behest.
But since such wrongs by me do not exist,
Such pardons are not needed at this time.
Just know that if they were, I would insist,
Through pardon’s power, me relieve of crime.
Yet fret not for authorities I hold!
Such speculation is not prescient now!
Instead, this witching hunt thou should’st observe,
Forgetting what I do of pardons vow.
     Unlucky numbered Dems should make thee cower;
     Of them (and others) think, not of my power!
